I have an old slingerland drumset and I really don't know much about them. I was hoping someone on here could tell me what model they are, what era they're from, really anything you think I should know.
Vintage Slingerland. What are they?? Last viewed: 1 hour ago
You happen to have one rare monkey here, your snare drum is a Tone flange snare drum even more rare that a radio king. the tom is called a tacked heads tom. the bass drum is the single tension model, this is quite rare the entire kit I mean... the color is blue silver Duco. here look at this link this kit is not exactly like your but does have the same configuration, can you post a pic of the snare drum with the top head removed show the interior of the snare drum? .http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/catalogs/slingerland/1930_slingerland_17.jpg
Awsome! where in the world did you find these drums?

I've yet to own pre-60's Silngys & this just makes me want at least a snare even more. Very nice looking -

I don't know too much about Slingerland drums, but I do know that is one sweet kit you have there! Congrats.
