10-12-14-15 Tama Artstar1 Cordia Toms Last viewed: 3 hours ago

I had the great fortune of being in the right place at the right time recently in order to pick up an original 10/12/14FT/18 Tama Superstar bop kit in Super Aquamarine. So my orphan Artstar Cordias need to go. Tired of waiting for an 18. Here's your chance to fill in your missing pieces.

I have 10/12/14/15 mounted toms that I set up a time or two jungle style. All block badges.

The 10 (first pic) is in really great shape, only a couple small scuffs and pinpoint sized breaks. The lugs are very clean, although the rims do have some rust spots. $300 pl/s. SOLD

The 15 (second pic) looks like it never ever got played. Clean as a whistle! Very rich dark color. $200 pl/s. SOLD

The 12 (shown 2nd in the 4-stack) is in very good shape as well, although the color is a little lighter than the others. $125 pl/s. SOLD

Finally the 14 (3rd in the 4-stack) does have one panel where there are a few scratches, along with standard occasional mars. Non-original tom mount, but with no extra holes. Still a very presentable drum, just not as remarkably clean as the others. $100 p/s. SOLD

I can email more detailed pics for each drum to anyone interested.

Thanks

John

How about some pics of your new Superstar BOP set!

It's not yet ready for display or play yet, but here is a picture right after the CL find. 10/12/14FT/18B. Also came with 13 and 15 orphans, and a rough converted 14 concert tom.

The 15x12 cleaned up really nicely; will be listing that later. I'll probably keep the 13x9 to slide into the bop kit occasionally.

Congratulations. Lovely, great sounding drums.

I had a Simon sized aqua kit from 1978 until a few years ago, when was struck with the Gretsch Disease. Gorgeous, great sounding drums. They sadly went green over the years. They were made before UV protectant.
