10 lug snares don't fit stands. Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Ok, what snare stands actually fit a 10 lug snare?

All the stands I have do not fit a 10 lugger without having one of the stand arms being lined up with a lug/ rod.

I am not a heavy hitter, so I can make it work by leaving the stand basket kind of loose.

I have some older Ludwig stands with the arms not symetrical, but they don't really hold the drum securely.

I am especially interested in newer flat based stands.

Are we talking the DW flat based stands, or all DW snare stands?

all dw stands but the flat will also.At least the first generation of them did, if you can go try one out first do so.

My Supra has always seemed to fit securely on the WFL stand that came with the kit, even back in the day when I was a (more or less) heavy hitter.
