Could be a triumphal

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Definitely not a Triumphal. Wrong engraving pattern.

Bad news - that's not a $2500 snare.

Good news - Guitar Center has a generous return policy. Full refund within 30 days, I believe.

For reference, if this is indeed a buffed out Black Beauty.

Donn Bennett is asking $1495 for a fully restored 6 lug BB, work done by Adrian Kirchler himself.

Got more info on this snare according to the buyer, he claims this is a Ludwig Inspiration model. see pics of one the Mike Curotto has in his collection. I wish he would chime in.

From Sanityclause

Looks like a 6 lugger too. I would guess around 800 tops. I certainly wouldn't pay more than that. Great sounding drum though. I love the 2 piece brass 6 luggers. They record well.

I wouldn't even give THAT much for it.

Without proper knowledge of these vintage drums, I may have put down a refundable deposit while I did some home work. I hope he,s not out to much money, but it will be a valuable lesson learned.

Hit like you mean it!!

It's not an Inspiration model, you can see BB engraving on the shell.
