I saw that drum at the Hollywood GC 12-15 yrs. ago. There was a former drum shop employee (maybe manager) that offered me the drum. I remember judging it to be a buffed to brass, possibly after-market gold plated former 6 lug engraved DeLuxe. I remember seeing traces of black nickel on the inside of the shell. They were asking 10K back then. I passed on it.
