Up for sale is a pair of 14" Zildjian Rock Hats, 1980's, I think. No keyholes or cracks. Heavier weights than New Beats, but I have nothing to weigh them at this time. $100 plus actual shipping. PM me with questions or for other pics. Fast postal quotes. Cheers!

That looks like the Canadian Zildjian factory "no country of origin" stamp:

http://black.net.nz/avedis/avedis-gallery.html#no-origin

unless it's the MADE IN CANADA and you cut that off in your picture? Either way, if they are Canadian Zildjian then they are 1970ish not 1980ish. Not that it really matters if they were produced before or after December 31st 1979. ;)

The only weights I've got on file for Rock Hats were around 1210g to 1220g and they seem to be matched weights rather than New Beat style with the heavier bottom. Do yours seem to be about the same weight for the top and the bottom?

I was wondering why there was no 'country of origin' that I could see & it makes perfect sense that these are from Meductic NB seeing as I am one province over.I've just only seen Canadian Zildjians w/ Made in Canada before. I'll add this to me list of questions for next time I do the tour... I'll try to get mine weighed to add to your stats, but yeah, they resemble the weights you mentioned. I sold a pair of early Sabian hats last year that were also of a very similar weight relativity.

Zenstat, Is this a Canadian Zildjian as well? This is from a lone 15" hat. Thanks in advance!
