I have this snare that I got a while back with that buddy rich kit. It's a 15" in mellow yellowed wmp. It needs snare wires on it. I'm just curious what would be a good pure sound set to put on this snare. Any opinions welcome. I'll try to get a pic up of this snare too.

I have a 1961 pre-serial # snare like yours. The snare wires that came on it are 15" 18 strand with chrome Ludwig script logo ends. It sounds great in my opinion. Maybe Puresound has something similar?
I recently bought 20 strand pure sound wires 15 inch for a recent project. Cant say anything about how they sound yet, just that they exist.
If interested, I have a few NOS script Ludwig wires (14 1/2").
