16" Gretsch floor tom hoop's 50's Era Last viewed: 5 hours ago

I bought some 14" hoops recently (see eBay link below) and I'm looking for some hoops to match. I don't have these in-hand right now - they're still in the mail....trying to escape the USA and into the Great White North = Canada.

I have some 16" hoops but they're more modern than what I'm looking for.

If anyone here has some 50's Era Gretsch 16" floor tom hoops that would match the ones in the link here for sale I would be interested.

I have the regular 1960's Gretsch die cast hoops which is what your photo looks like. In the 1950's Gretsch had "stick Chopper' hoops but I dont think that is what you bought on ebay.

Thanks - I have one 60's hoop now and I bought a hoop that fit my 16" floor tom new (from China) and it looks good.

When I saw the advertised hoops on eBay I jumped on them - I hope I didn't buy something I already have. I will have to send the seller (***le at LeeCountry) an email on this.

I guess it IS the STICKCHOPPER rims I'm looking for.

Damn

I'm getting a collection of 16" rims .............that I will have to sell at some point I guess.
