1920's-1930's Ludwig Bass Drum Last viewed: 22 minutes ago

Hi everyone, I just joined this forum and am looking to sell my vintage bass drum. It's a Ludwig, probably 1920's or 30's based on some research I've done. It still works as a drum but it has a long tear across the entire front/mural. There's 2 lightbulbs inside, one blue and one green. I also have the original canvas bag it came in. I have no idea how much this thing is worth so I cannot say how much I am looking to get.

Cool drum. Considering the head is torn and this is a single tension drum, your probably looking at 200-400 in value. I just shipped a bass drum of similar size 28" today via FedEx. From TX to NJ in a box of 36x36x24, it cost me $200. Mind you, it also had some hardware and a snare packed inside of the bass drum.. So you might be looking at a few $$ less for shipping. Just some info for ya!

This would be a great addition to someones black beauty snare!

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Funny you mention the black beauty. My dad had one of those that we sold a while back for a little more than $500.
