ive finally got my leedy's drums ive never seen a bd this big it has to be 28 it has gold plated hardware and the snare is rare ive only seen one a 4x14 black elite engraved and this is it ,as there are a lot of 5x14 out there this has gold plated hardware too.

and the cymbals have the big bell and the hats the top cymbal is paper thin time for restoration, although there in excellent player's, status as in well maintained all the cymbals look Italian one has a weird stamp, missing the toms and wood blocks the kit was separated at auction and a lot got bid off else ware ,i have a lot in these way more than i should of with shipping they skidded it that alone was 300 from Missouri but the drums are cool i post pics later this eve i mite want to sell them as im thinking the bd for sure maybe the snare if there is a leedy collector here on the vdf

66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I can't see much of the bass drum but that snare! Wow, great snare!

The Leedy snare is a thing of rare beauty, but I really love the hand painted bass drum head. I could see that bass drum sitting on a low stage in the main lodge Ballroom at a lake-side resort somewhere - in the 1920's. Conjures up all kinds of images. Rare drums my friend.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
