John, I ask to see the lighting rig because I'm an interested buyer. It difficult to commit to a 2K purchase, when i can't seem to get photos of the areas i'm asking for. You seem quick to sign me off, yet i've been asking for the same thing since my first post.
I did to respond!
I told you... there's nothing to see but two long screws and light bulb fixture. Why do I have to take, process and post photos of two screws???
There are no extra holes for the bulb fixture. As I explained earlier, the bulb fixture was attached to one of the lugs inside the drum. When I removed the bulb fixture, I replaced the two long screws with matching shorter ones to hold on the tube lug. I can't explain it any better than that and I think posting a photo of two screws won't help the sale any. It's a rare bit of drum history. It's in really nice shape for its age and I have -all- the original parts that I swapped out so I could play it. (Clips, snares, the bulb rig.)
If you're still interested in the drum let me know. You should know there are others kicking the tires. Don't wait a whole long time to decide. These drums only come up for sale once in awhile and in the condition this one is in, even less.
I can't believe I actually have to hype a 20's black beauty with the early model wave pattern and the Pat. Pending strainer. How many of these can there be? I got this one because I didn't hesitate, I pulled the trigger and I've been happy about the purchase ever since.
John
