Thanks Mike, I was looking at it thinking something looked different but couldn't really place it.

Hi,What makes it different is that both Sensitive snare mechanisms are internal. This was a new idea that did not last very long, only a few years, 1929-30 +/-. I'm sure that the 1929 Stock Market crash didn't help things either.Mike Curotto

Wow!! Double, internal, parallel snares. That must be one incredibly sensitive drum. With both sets activated, I bet a fly landing on the batter would set those snares off. Unique set up. I'd love to hear what that sounds like. And there's no way PureSound makes replacement strands for that!

Well, the drum sounds like a 1920s-30s snare drum and you wouldn't want to play heavy back beats on it. Correct, no one makes the replacement snares except me...125.00 + 8.00 shipping (shameless plug, I know).Falling Do

But wait....if you call right now, you'll receive TWO replacement snares! That's right.....TWO replacement snares for the price of one. Just pay shipping and handling. So call right now!

Mike, are you still having your snare wires made in a sweat shop in Taiwan?
