1929 Ludwig & Ludwig Emerald Green Pearl Standard Model Last viewed: 59 minutes ago

Beautiful wrap color... and it is amazing what you can accomplish buffing out hardware on a wheel. Thanks for sharing.

Question... Is the drum dated specifically to 1929 because the wrap was available that one year?

William

I wrote "1929" as just an estimate. The finish was short-lived and was offered from 1928 until about 1931. Unfortunately, I dont have the 1930 catalog (not sure there was one) but I'm guessing Emerald was discontinued by 1931-32. It's definitely absent from the 1932 catalog and never appears again.

Beautiful job and great color choice...:)

Thanks. Obviously, this is my all time favorite finish and the only thing I actually collect. Talk about a narrow field of interest!

So cool. Look at that backdrop artwork! Finishes are amazing...

It's all the narrow fields of interest that keep so much esoteric knowledge alive. Well done!
