Our local drum shop has these on consignment. I know they got the date from inside the bass drum. I know the heads are very old and probably from the era. I know the hihats are very small, bent and trash-canny.

That's all I know... but the people there are very knowledgeable and helpful so if you have interest, call them. I hve no vested interest, but they're cool and I figured you guys would like to see them.

Cool old drums! Thanks for posting the photos. Somebody must have painted them orange along the way to match some 'school,' or a teams' colors. Love the look of those old tubs. Must have been a lot of music played on them in all that time.

Did someone on VDF buy this kit? They got a bunch of calls from New York and Maryland right after I posted it here, and sold it to someone in New York. Just curious. The drums were shipped this week.
