Here is a fab snare drum from the 1930's. What i like to do is thoroughly clean a drum up and keep it as original as possible. On the dominion ace you dont always get the workings or wires on the drum. I can state that all workings screws washers and top bottom wires are all original from the 1930's. It is a great sounding drum and a great pleasure to play with lots of various dynamics that can be achieved with the 2 wire system.

Ive seen a couple of the COB's but not a complete one. Apparently ive just been told by some one who knows these drums that the bottom snare wires and the 2 levers to activate the wires are virtually impossible to find if yours are missing. Next time i go to a drum show im definitely taking this with me. Its just too good to even sell. Im certainly having big thoughts on keeping this one. Its not often i keep a drum i tend to love the renovation then sell on. I suppose its an age thing at 56 i think im growing up hahahaha.
