Thanks! The drum does seem quite versatile with a wide tuning range. I may try to tune it low and see what happens....

Great job on the drum and playing! I have one of the bottom of the line 13" single tension no lugs. Nice shells. Rims steel or brass on yours?

Thank you! The hoops on this drum are solid brass. The entire drum is quite heavy, as well.

Thanks very much! Yes, it really does weigh a lot. It seems to have a pretty wide tuning range, too.
