Nice first post, but welcome anyhow......:)
Rewrapped, and replacement {import} lug , plus rims. You didn't even mention the Yamaha tom mount. You butcher!!!!!!.......
Re-cut bearing edges, re-wrap, non-original hardware, wrong hoops, with a Yammy mount... $1800.00 ???!!!
Because of the totally non-original condition, the only thing attractive is the drum sizes and the old RK shells. Otherwise, there is not enough left in original condition to rightfully call Radio King. Other than the cloud badges. I'd pay 'maybe' $450. - $500. (tops) in current condition. Do you at least have the original hoops to include in the sale? It'll save the next buyer some $ if you do have them.
I wish you luck with your sale and I'll be following it to see if you get your price. Sorry, I just think you have made a serious miscalculation in pricing this kit. In all original condition, maybe. As is, no way.

Makes me very sad to see a kit in this state.:(
Oh, come on.
I know it's a shame to ruin the shells with modern hardware, but it still is a nice and good sounding kit.
We are being tough on the seller, but deservedly so. To take a set like that, strip the wrap, modify the edges, replace the hardware with cheap replicas, carve new holes for that tom mount, and represent it as a fine vintage drumset , particularly to a group of real vintage enthusiasts takes either some big Huevos, or a really warped sense of "restoration". If it'd been left alone, no matter how bad it was, there'd be a market for it. Now, he needs a buyer with a real sense of humor. There's a similar, poorly re-wrapped set of RK's on the Bay now. The guy's run them multiple times. He's now down to a BIN of $799.00 with no takers. I've been considering offering him $500, and doing a good re-wrap on them. They do have the original lugs, rims and tom mounts. That's just the state of it. They've been bastardized, they could be fixed up, but will never be worth much as a patched up set.

We obviously dont have the same ideas on vintage drums.... How many Radio King sets from the 40s do you think are left?
You should never pimp a Radio King, if you need to restore a vintage set put it back to the way it deserves.
