1946 Gretsch Broadkaster Round Badge in excellent condition. Price reduced for quick sale: $1700.

14 x 26 bass drum, 8 x 12 tom, 12 x 14 tom. No extra holes in any of the drums. All drums have the original hardware. (Rocket Lugs, tension rods, bow tie clips) No ply separation on any of the shells. (3 ply maple) No lifting on the wrap. The white marine pearl (WMP) wrap has aged beautifully with a consistent color across the whole kit. No scratches or dings in the finish or bass drum hoops.

All shells are stamped with a date on the inside. The only date that is decipherable is the date on the 12" tom. June or July 4 (or 14) 1946. (See pics)

The hoops are in great. The nickel plating is holding up very well.

Original tom mufflers (2 for each tom) and mounting brackets are included. I removed the mufflers because the pads have deteriorated and fell off.

Modern drum heads fit perfect on all 3 drums. Heads are in great shape. (Coated on top, clear on bottom)

The drums have been meticulously maintained by me (Berklee graduate, drum collector, professional musician). All drums have been carefully cleaned and polished and are ready to go for being played or setup for display. I've played them out a few times at a classy cocktail lounge called The Dorrance in Providence RI. (See pics) They play beautifully and get a lot of attention.

Vintage Gretsch Broadkaster kits in this shape are VERY rare to find. If you are a Gretsch enthusiast, you won't want to miss this opportunity.

I will include 3 vintage original Gretsch Broadkaster ads from the 1940's (not copies) and the Gretsch drum key that can be seen in the pics.
