1947 Gretsch Finally Cleaned Up Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hi guys, finally got my 1947 Gretsch Broadway (?) with Gladstone snare drum cleaned up. Thought I would post the pictures. I posted this kit awhile back when I first bought it. I didn't do anything major, just cleaned the dirt and dust off of it. I think it turned out pretty nice, especially to be so old. A nice old vintage Gretsch bought from the grandson of the original owner, Wish this kit could talk, the stories it could tell! LOL.

Does anyone know the real value of these drums? I would like to get an idea.....Thanks Everyone!!

That is one of the most beautiful drum sets I've ever seen! Oh, and I've seen a few.

Thanks everybody!! I would like to find an old Gretsch logo to put on the bass drum. One where the T stretches across the word Gretsch. I think that would look nice. But, can't find one.

Nicest 40's kit I've seen. Talk about some history.

Enjoy the crap out of those.
