Got a chance to put the oldest kit in my collection through a big PA system last Friday. 26/16/13/6.5x14

These drums really sound amazing.

I can't help but wonder when I play this set, who may have played these drums before me?

and what kind of music & shows has it seen in it's long life?

Thinking about the history & who/what/where the drums have been is part of the great feeling you get from vintage drums & why I love them more than new kits.

I get a lot of folks asking me about these drums when I play them out.

First question is always "whats that thing on the front?" ;-)

These drums look as good as they sound for sure.
