For sale I have a beautiful Feb. 7 1959 Slingerland Special Student snare in blue sparkle. I bought this from the original owner, it was his school drum (even gave me his old school band material!) and he's kept it in a case for decades. It was 100% original when I bought it, but unfortunately the bottom calf skin head was broken so I replaced it (but it will be included in the sale). I'm the first person who's every taken off the heads of these drums, the edges and interior is perfect, and no fade to the wrap. Original wires and even their ties are original (was able to replace the bottom head without removing them). I don't own any blue sparkle drums so I don't really need it and would like to find it a good home. Price includes Slingerland student snare stand shown. $175 plus shipping.
