Here are a few images of the kit. Very difficult to see how many ply the bass is. I still have not seen them in person yet.

Ooh I'd pay 500 for that. Then again I'm up in Canada where that would be a pretty sweet deal...

Here are a few images of the kit. Very difficult to see how many ply the bass is. I still have not seen them in person yet.

The bass and snare may be older than the tom that has the paper label. The badge style and the one point butt on the snare point to late 50s/early 60s. The faucet style T-rods and lack of interior paint on the bass point to 1950s.

When you see them, look for a date stamp inside any of the shells which are not painted silver.

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

Just found out the hi tom doesn't match the rest of the kit. Bummer! That kills the value I'm sure.
