1960s Slingerland in BDP! Last viewed: 2 hours ago

My good friends wife's parents recently moved across the country and left a bunch of things behind. Amongst it all was this case which had all of this in it! The snare drum, a practice pad, some sticks, and the matching stand which is missing the midsection screw. Really happy to have found this in such great shape. Ill post a final picture when my heads come into the shop later this week but for now ill post the rest.

Serial number is 210150

Nice find. Could actually be a '70. Serial 210xxx and large tone control knob.

From what I found out about this snare is that it was bought in the 60s for my friends wife's father while he was in school. He was in about 6th or 7th grade and it was a big deal for his parents to buy as he had 3 other brothers. He had bought it from a place called Surveillance neat where he lived in Jordan Elbridge in central New York state. He was the only owner and now I am the second!

Very late 60's, possible '70. Are hoops COS?
