My favorite drums and sizes of all time. If I was to only pick one this would be it. Good luck.

Mike,Thanks for the help on the dates. My ludwig book (Rob Cook) is pretty vague between 64-65 so I made my best assumption. I do appreciate the help!Jaghog,These have always been in the St.louis area as far as I know. Thanks for looking!Randy

randy

there is a new lufwig guide that has just came out with update serial number/dating info. 65 drums have been identified as 64 for a long time!

Hi everybody,

I have lowered the price to move these. I have too many drums right now and need to make some room.

I think this is a great deal compared to what I've seen these go for in this shape. I really don't want to list these on Ebay, so if your interested let me know.

BTW, I did change the date to 65 after some guidance from mlayton.

Thanks Mike!

Thanks,Randy:)

randythose 3 serial numbers on the drums are usually early 65,probably march 65. the snare serial number would indeed usually be a 64 serial number. beautiful drums.mike

Hi Mike

What page(graph) on the new guide would give this information?

I'm looking at the guide now & I'm a bit perplexed. I think page 2 graph 1? So 1964 or 65?

Thanks

page 11,graph 4 is what I usually go to first. the reference that I made on these drums was from my own personal data. for some reason, I own a bunch of march 65 drums. it seems Ludwig also got back into date stamping the shells on a regular basis, during this period.
