Wondering if you might be interested in a 5 pc 1967ish ludwig Keystone kit ?? I think it's champagne sparkle - I say "I think" because the protective paper wrap is still on kit !!! Kick, 2 toms, floor tom, snare (snare dates Sept 1966), also hihat stand -- Dave. I replied " How much are they? cant wait for his reply and to see these.

Heck if I know. Im still waiting for him to call me. What if it is and it had protective paper n the wrap? It might be hard to get that stuff off. Im intregued for sure.

they didn't come with protective paper wrap on them from the factory! not then not now!
Would have been in plastic bags. Most boxed drums ship/shipped in plastic, not paper.

Yes you are right on that one....they would be ruined and of no use to you if so...but I am the kind of guy that would take them off your hands,,,,,just let me know Laughing H
Ok he just called me. He says the kit has been wrapped with white contact paper over the original wrap. He says he took them to guitar center and they peeled the contact paper back and the GC guy told him its white oyster, I said you mean White Marine pearl, no he said the pattern is bigger than marine pearl, but I have never heard of white oyster. anyway the kick, 1 tom and floor tom are all dated 1966 with white interiors and the other tom is 1969 with clear interior, The bas drum has a double tom tree sticking into it. I am guessing that it was originally a club date or something and someone added another tom. there are probably holes where the rail was mounted. Im going to go see it at 4:30 The GC guy says they outta be worth about $800
BTW he says it has a supraphonic snare.
Ok guys i went to see the pos luddys lol.
The floor tom had a hole about the size of a nickle where the muffler goes, the bass drum has extra holes where the rail consolette went and added the tom tree, the supraphonic was missing the muffler felt and was severly pitted. both the toms seemed to be intact, but one was white interior and the other clear. I did buy a nice 16" zild crash and a wfl snare stand and a wfl cymbal stand. He has been doing market research on ebay on the individual drums. He's thinking he's gonna sell them seperate and parts some out. he had a paiste 602 hi hat top i think and zildjian bottom hat A old 21" ride with sever keyhole and craked all arounf the hole too. These drums I got for $75 are in far better shape than these.
