Sizes are 14"x22" bass drum, 16"x16" floor tom, 9"x13" tom tom, and 5"x14" s.s. snare with combo snares. This snare has the individual s.s. snares which are adjusted with the Ludwig screwdriver key.
I don't have pics yet but in the next day or so they will be on here. 3k for a 1966 Ludwig Super Classic in black diamond pearl finish. Snare drum is a ludwig Super Sensitive with the small wire gut snare combo. All hardware and cymbals are original to the kit which includes Ludwig: hi-hat stand, snare stand, Speed King pedal, bass drum mounted cymbal holder, cowbell with cowbell holder, Ludwig drum key with screwdriver, stick tray, seat, flat based cymbal stand, bass drum anchor, hex wrench for tom holder, 3 floor tom legs, red rubber handled brushes, sticks, other assorted stuff, trap case, vinyl Ludwig bags for all drums, and 2 20" A Zildjian rides (one I guess was the crash and the other has 2-3 rivets with holes for 6 total which were factory drilled.) plus 15" A Zildjian thin hi hat cymbals.
The pros-All drums are in pristine condition, these drums sound amazing, you will not find a cleaner example around in some time with all the pieces that came with the Super Classic. Look at the catalog description and look at my list. Interiors are bright freash white painted. No, none of this kit has been refinished. It sat in my friends dining room since 1970 because he had an accident that left him paralyzed and he could not play anymore. When he passed, his wife sold them to me. These are the granny kit or the barn find everyone talks about. This is it.
The cons-floor tom has small area where wrap is lifting, finish on wrap is slightly faded but may come back with some good Meguiars num 10 and num 18. Bass drum hoop has normal pedal rash from a Speed King clamp. one of the floor tom legs although Ludwig is not the original because my friends widow could not locate the third so I bought a match off of eBay. Zipper on bass drum bag is broken but is just a tedious fix. Snares for super sensitive are the gut/snappy snare combo and need to be replaced. Chrome on snare drum is pitting and flaking but not the worst I have seen by far.
If you know anyone, pass this link onto them and tell them to pm me. These won't last long. It's almost like getting a new kit. I have the original heads although they are yellowed and beaten on but I replaced all the heads with Coated Vintage Emperors on tops, Coated Ambassadors on bottoms, Snare has a Coated PS on it. Bass drum has smooth white PS3 on front side with vintage Ludwig decal to match original motif. Batter side-I cannot remember and I am out of town right now.
