1967 Ludwig snare question Last viewed: 5 hours ago

hi guys!

Have been searching for information in regards to an 8 lug, 14x10 Ludaloy shelled snare I acquired recently, with no such luck. Has the classic strainer, drop gate snare guards on the reso, and sensitive wires. It is not a parade snare, and has no extra holes. Any help in kicking me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

ive seen one or two before. they are super uncommon to find. its been years since I saw one though. seems like it had b/o badge with hand etched serial number. don't recall the details on which snare type it was though. would love to see pics of yours..

Thanks to mlayton, he was able to provide me with some insight. All I had for pictures were what the person sent to my phone prior to purchase. In the 1967 cat it shows a tenor as well as a super sensitive Ludaloy 14x10's. Not sure where this cat comes into play, but still searching. Will absolutely post some pictures by the weekend. Thanks everyone!

My 10x14" tom was also keystone badge and had the same pitting as yours does. Show the interior will you ?
