I bought this snare in the 70's at a friends music store. Someone bought the kit but did not want the matching snare. I forgot I had it until I pulled out my old Slingerlands and there it was. Eight lug, white inside, stamped DEC 1967. All the hardware and drum like new. I cannot find another one to compare it to for value. Any suggestions?

Hey Rufus!
Totally interested in your snare if you are willing to part with it... any pics? how much? very serious if the price is right! let me know!!!
thanks,
Rob
A local vintage music store was confused. They said red psych was 68-69 and the inside of the shell was natural wood. He thought this one may have been made with 67 already prepped and painted laminates and could be form the very first batch. I need to find value before considering what to do with it.
that'c cool. i've been looking forever to find one to match my kit. please let me know when you are ready to part with it!
thanks!!!
Rob

After you click on reply, scroll down to "manage attachments" then click on that. Another window comes up, click on "choose file". After you find the pic you want (it can't be to large) double click on the pic. Then click on "upload". Then click on "submit reply"
If the pic file is to large, you may have to edit the pic, to make it smaller.
