1968 Ludwig Red Psychedelic 4 Pc Kit with extra 13 in Tom Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hello Guys. It's almost been a year since I've been on your forum. I have a 1968 Ludwig Red Psychedelic Kit that I'm selling. The 16 inch Tom is stamped Jan 10 1968. I do not have the front hoop for the bass drum or the bottom hoop for the 13. I do not have the tom arm any more or any of the lug nuts for the bottom hoops. The Wrap on the bass drum needs to be re-glued at the seam.

Also, I have a spare 13 that I acquired a few years ago. It is a bare bones shell. I would entertain any decent offer for this kit. I have 3 kits now and I am out of room. I am in Austin TX. I'm sweetening the deal. I'm going throw in my favorite snare and the stand. Snare is around 1966 SN:304575 Check out the pics. Guys, I've decided to give the kit one more night here and then I think I'm going to just hang onto them. This post will be gone by noon tomorrow.

1350.00 Firm and they are yours.

Is the bass drum is not the original? I notice it has the B/O badge unlike the rest.

Any chance you'd sell the 13" shell separately ?

Not sure what the deal is with the B/O badge. The finish matches perfectly. Not that that means anything. That's the way I bought the kit in 1977. One owner that bought it new.

The bass drum interior is white also?

Sorry about that. The inside of the bass drum is a natural finish.

The wrap pattern tells me it's a factory matched kit. The bass drum is simply from a transition period, which is also why it has a clear interior.

Hey guys. I've decided to keep my kit. I do appreciate all of your wisdom and thanks for letting me hang out in your forum. You all take care!
