Bought this from a local drum shop and I think I paid too much! My loss your gain as I have two awesome collector grade kits coming in now and don't want to spend the time restoring this kit. The hardware has already been cleaned and one drum is fully restored. The snare has a natural maple finish (very rare for a standard) and the rest of the drums have granitone. The shells have 1969 date stamps; the bass drum might be missing it.
The wrap has some issues and a little lifting but no tears. It's interesting that with this wrap and the 3 ply shells you could easily just re wrap the kit as the wrap does not go into the outer ply.
No extra holes or mods. Is missing bass spurs, tom arm to mount to the bass drum. I have non Ludwig floor tom legs to throw in. A few non Ludwig bass drum tension rods also.
All that for $650 which again is a loss but I value my time I would spend in restoring them more for other projects. You get essentially a Ludwig downbeat (same exact shells) and jazzfest all in 3 ply goodness.
Shipping to most of the East coast is $75 to $100 and all the way to the west coast about $125.
