Just got this 1969 Ludwig Standard S-330 kit in Gold Strata from a guy in town. After a little clean-up, they look pretty good! And sound just great!

Nice drums! Hey, I may be wrong, but they look more "Ruby Strata" in that picture -to my eye, at least. Could be the light, though. Very nice drums!Burger Kin

I'd have to agree with O-lugs on this one....looks more to be Ruby Strata rather than Gold Strata

The color's off in the photo -- they're definitely Gold Strata -- lots of brown in the finish (I compared them to my original Ludwig Standard catalog)

I had a friend who owned a set of Rubies and they looked exactly like that photo. Do you have any other pictures in different lighting?

It's difficult to assess from that picture, I think. But it does look like a slightly faded/aged Ruby to me.
