I see you've also acquired the "vintage drum bug". :)
Aside from a couple cosmetic issues, both drums look to be in very good condition. If you don't want them, put them up for sale in the the For Sale section. Are they both 14x10 drums? The missing/damaged badges and leg rests are really not an issue. The cracked shell might just be some ply separation. Unless something actually crushed the shell at some point.
I agree, the older marching snares really don't have a place in today's marching bands/drumlines. It's all about high-tension firecracker snares now.
jccabinets is correct and I agree about selling the individual parts as being "not cool", but some forum members, including myself, have successfully breathed new life into marching snares like yours. We've cut the shells down and reuse all of the hardware to make a kit style snare. Some may not agree with this, but I feel it's at least better than parting out the drum.
Your drums could be turned into a 14x6.5 Ludwig School Festival snare. With careful measurements and a single cut with a saw, a re-cut bearing edge with a router and some new holes drilled for the lugs, someone can make them into a snare that is very usable. As a 14x10 marching snare, it would have probably been parted out or ended up in some landfill.
