I am selling my 1977 Slingerland chrome over wood drum set. I am the original owner. The kit is in really great condition, having never been gigged. In fact, it spent about twenty-five years in the original shipping boxes sitting in a closet.

The shells are three ply with a maple inner ply and reinforcement rings. The sizes are as follows:

The drums use a Pearl tom mount instead of the Slingerland Set-O-Matic tom mount. The Pearl mount was professionally installed at the drum shop in my presence where I purchased the set.

The kit includes the original Slingerland batter heads (still in good shape) as well as the resonance heads (which are still pristine), except for the snare batter head which was replaced by a Remo coated Ambassador head.

The kit will also include heavy duty Pearl stands and pedals and a complete set of clear Remo Ambassador and Pinstripe heads in almost new condition.

I will also throw in three vintage Slingerland catalogs from the 60s and 70s. And if I can find them I will include two Slingerland drum keys which came with the set. (I saw them somewhere in the house a few weeks ago.) I will also try to find and include the original sales receipt.
