Sylvain, it's just a little high, if you can get them down to $2200.00- $2350.00 . less is better. but as long as they are in very good condition, no issues at all.

Hi,

Canadian stuff is always more expensive, but that seems high unless they are in terrific condition.

I bought a Gretsch Rosewood Square Badge (80's) 20/12/13/16

for $1200 with soft cases. The finish was less than stellar, with some serious rash on the 12, and otherwise the usual dings and scrapes. No hardware was included beyond tom hardware.

Got pics?

Best of luck with your decision Sylvain,

I have been very happy with the two sets of Gretsch I own. (Neither will win a beauty contest, but both play and sound terrific).

regards,

Patrick

I will pick up the kit tomorrow.

I will be able to post pictures Sunday

It will be my first Gretsch and my first 20x16 bass

Can you tell me the biggest difference I will find between a 20 vs 22

Best

Cool. looking forward to your pics, the size difference Isn't in volume it is in the tone the different size bass drums produce. you'll be very happy with the tone this gretsch will throw at you.
