$2000 four piece drum set game!! Last viewed: 1 hour ago

If it is vintage we are talking about then I would have to go with a super classic in just about any of the Ludwig finishes. Since mod orange is my favorite, I would probably want that too but it would have to be quite faded as I would have a hard time taking a decent out on the road.

If it was slighly newer then I would be pretty happy with a used set of classic maples. Those are great drums!

From verminator

My second choice would be a Rogers xp8 in the tobacco burst finish. Could probably be had for under $2000 so I would want it to be mint!!!!!

But Verm, but your choices were never made with a matching snare, if I'm correct... :) Unless there's a mod orange snare out there...yowsa if there was.

I would go with a Camco because I know they'd also have the best chance of appreciating in value.

I would go for a rogers headliner in black diamond Pearl. It's the kit that got away. My highschool had one that I fixed up for them. I tried to buy it from them but they would not sell it to me. I'm sure it's lost now.

8x12" 16x16" 14x20" 5x14 power tone.

I liked the 16 floortom with the otherwise downbeat sizes. Allitle more low end when you needed it.

I like Drums...

Slingerlands will tend to get you the most bang for the buck, but I'm with Wayne if you are going to spend the entire wad.
