20's Ludwig and Ludwig Bass Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Hi,

I hope I am ok with posting in the for sale section without knowing what to ask. I have what I think is a 20's Ludwig Bass. We have had it for years and used it as a coffie table (have a nice beveled edge glass top if anyone wants). Its about 30" diameter.

so suggestions on what to ask and how to ship??

Of course I'm in the Atlanta area if someone local wants to look at it.

Thanks

John

For a price indication, you might want to check ebay completed listings. Lots of vintage bass drums come up. I tried to buy one a couple months back, but the buyer had a reserve of $100 and would not budge. No sale. Keep in mind that you need to factor shipping into your price. In this market, sellers pay all shipping: Buyers set a price then reduce it by the shipping cost.

Best of luck on your sale. Nice drum.

Your drum looks to be missing some lugs i only see three lugs and 5 claws 3 with the lugs i can see and 2 at the bottom of drum...Your drum should have 10 or 12 lugs around the drum...With this said i would think you would doing good if you can sell the drum for 50.00+ shipping..If iam right on the missing lugs could be your photo.Shipping by Fed-ex would be the way to go...Mikey
