22-1/4" A.Zil..... Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Was sold as a 23" to me....It's late 70's-early 80's Blk Hollow logo (bottom of cymbal)....,,Thing weighs 7 Lbs..10 Ozs.....So......Heavy...BUT..is lower in pitch then the same vintage 22" (on the nose) that weighs 2526g..(5.56 Lbs)..what gives?

The 23"...sounds more like a Canadian K ..then a A!....

More weight means lower pitch, check and see if it has a lower profile,

the few germanic orchestral cymbals I have played were heavy and had a lower profile than regular A's.and sounded a little darker.

I have always heard..(and..usually find)....more weight..higher pitch.......

I am wondering same thing though..pretty darn heavy..might be orchestral cymbal...1/2 of a pair.....
