22 inch Paiste 505 RIDE Pre-Serial Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Pretty much the best Ride I have ever owned. Sacrificing for prioritized financial obligations.....

This very glassy and resonant big 22 inch Paiste 505 Ride is on the dry side, but glassy as these great Paistes are. Many people prefer these 505s to the 2002s and I understand why.

This is the RIDE (weight designation) 2955 grams and much better than the 20 inch IMHO

No serial / pre? serial - Rare?

Let me know if you need any audio / video. Very loud and cutting bell.

No Cracks, No flea bites. The hole is....don't know how to describe it, but you will be able to see it in the pics. Never any problem with mounting it - no crack there/ all good.

Seen these go for $175 recently (and more in recent years).

$150 plus shipping from 49285

Paypal please. God Bless....

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I wish I could....but not in a position to entertain trades. Need the cash.

I have a pre-serial Black label 505 20" from 1974-- It's the best ride i've ever owned.

Perfect wash, nice and dark, superb crash, and very versatile .. I'll never get rid of it..

If i find another one, i'm gonna snag it up ;)

I see the 20s on the bay quite often. Indeed - love the 505 series.........and they are worth every penny!

My very first Paiste was a 20in Medium - as part of a flip deal. I was blown away by how blasted beautiful it sounded as a ride! Then I discovered how crazy versatile it was - IMHO the best Crash/Ride you could find in B8. The crash is great & I consider it my 'wet' ride in my setup. Sometimes it is my only ride, but sometimes my wet with a different 'dry' ride.

I even ran my 505s with an old 60s 22in Ride last week. The clarity and focus of the 505s made for a very nice match to a relatively dry Zilly ride. Beautiful finesse cymbal work was made quite easy!
