I have for Sale a 3-ply Early 70's 22 X 14 Ludwig Bass Drum Shell.

Maple Poplar Mahogany With re-ring. It was Blue And Olive Badge.

Set-up for 20 Large Classic Lugs. 5/16" Spurs, And Ludwig Rail Consolette.

The shell is exactly how it looks in the pics. As you can see it needs work. The shell is round and has know cracks, splits or ply separation that I can see. Some idiot (NOT ME) painted the inside white. I remove almost all of the paint. Just needs to be sanded down and re-cleared inside. The outside mahogany is still pretty much intact. There is a couple spots where the mahogany came off. (SEE PICS). The rest is just glue residue. A good sanding and the outside should clean up very nice. Someone also drill 6 extra holes in it too. They drilled 2 so they could move the rail consolette to the centre. and the other 4 were drill for some kind of mount. I plugged the extra holes with poplar dowels. The ends just need to be sanded flat to the shell.
