22" Spizzichino Last viewed: 31 minutes ago

Loading...

A terrific 22" Spizzichino, 2260 grams, thin, woody stick, dragon-breath wash, strong bell. The most broken-in Spizz I've owned--a nice natural patina forming on top of the "patina process" Robert used in the early-mid 2000s. Drilled for one rivet.

$1050 US shipped/insured in lower 48.

Elsewhere add another $50 US.

Paypal please.

Thanks!

Just curious, what makes this cymbal worth that kind of coin?

Lots of Slingerland drums

I am no expert on all things Spizzichino, but I believe one HUGE factor is that it is a one-man operation and everything is done entirely by hand with very, very low production numbers, yet Robert has gained a huge amount of acclaim. I can't get myself to let go of that kind of scratch, but there are a few who would sell organs to buy one of those cymbals.

Let the experts agree or refute this, and I am certain there's more to add as far as why they fetch so much money.

Yeah- I'm THAT guy!!!

Hand-made, one maker, and mostly, the sound is incredible.
