25.5" Ride Cymbal Last viewed: 7 hours ago

This is a 25.5" ride cymbal with a few cracks around the edges. Cracks are pictured. This cymbal has no manufacturers stamp on it anywhere but the lathing on the cymbal is similar to a 60's era Zildjian. . There is one large crack that is over an inch long and three small cracks that are pictured around the edge but this is still a great sounding cymbal and would work well for a drummer playing low volume gigs where you aren't hitting as hard. Even with the cracks this cymbal sounds truly amazing which can be attributed to its thin weight. Asking $600.00 plus shipping.

i'd say it looks more like late 50's lathing to me. shame about the cracks. thats a beautiful beast! can you find out what it weighs for us? sorry if i missed that..

Nice looking cymbal, but $600 seems a bit steep to me. Those cracks and keyholing will eventually get worse, and that cymbal is destined to become unusable. I like the mystery of what brand it is, and think it must sound pretty good; it obviously was played a LOT.

I agree, the cracks DO devalue it considerably. I will guess it is a Zildjian though. Maybe you just haven't found the stamp yet.

I put a link at the bottom of the post underneath the last picture for a video so you can hear the cymbal. Unfortunately I don't have a way to weigh the cymbal in grams which I know is what most people are looking for. Here is the link again. Have a listen, it is a great sounding ride.

The cymbal is a consignment piece in my shop so there is some wiggle room on it if someone is really interested. I would definitely recommend this for lighter jazz or acoustic gigs because the cracks won't be too much of an issue for a lighter playing application. Because of the sound and size my customer would have been looking for more without the cracks. As for the stamp, I have looked the cymbal over many times and had at least 6 other vintage drum guys (Including a Zildjian rep) look at the cymbal and none were able to find a stamp on it either.
