3 Ply Gretsch Shell? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Is this a 3 ply shell and is it Gretsch? If so, what year could it be? Badge is missing. :( No extra holes. :)

Any guesses?

it would have to be before the silver interiors pre '57

so if it is Gretsch it would be 3 ply

but that does not look like a Gretsch bearing edge of that time tough

most 3 ply Gretsch were even thicker than the Jasper 6 play of the 60s

don't think it is Gretsch ....not a vintage Gretsch at least

can you take a pic of the throw off ?

Isn't the grain running towards MIJ/T? Doesn't look Gretsch, to me. The lugs look to be Gretsch, though. Not that easy to see.

it's not gretsch. MIJ luan grain wood, interior screws are wrong as is the vent grommet.here is a pic of 3 ply gretsch
