From superace05

Heres a later 3 ply model for sale in England at the moment, ive had my eye on it for a while looks real nice but a differnt shell with no re-ring.http://www.drumshack.co.uk/buy/2857/0/-1/2nd-hand-gretsch-roundbadge-1950and039s-wmp-14x65andquot-snare-drum

That's a fine looking drum. I've got a late '50s Roundbadge that I love. It's a 5" or 5.5" though. The only thing wrong with the drum I'm trading for is that the chrome or nickel has worn-off. I don't mind because I'll be playing and recording with it, not staring at it in a display case.

Thanks for sharing that link.

Best.

I won a 1947 5.5 Broadkaster off ebay that I will be trading for the 7" '30s Broadkaster pictured in the first post. My friend likes smaller drums, I like bigger ones. Got it for $622, so considering what his drum would go for in the UK, I think I got a good deal.

Thanks to everyone for all the input.

Best.
