Just picked this up at a flea market for $50. 14" x 28" I think it's from 1928-1940 era? WMP, tight and no rips. A few small cigarette burns near the top (character). 2 small extra holes where the piece of wood is. Pretty much complete but two of the T rods are broken. Looks like all nickel. It had the original calf skin on the beater side. The interior is mint! Should I restore or just a good clean. one hoop was cracked at one point and someone made a metal brace (easy fix). Any ideas on pinning down the date and also a value? Is this a Broadkaster era? Thanks..Rich.

I would say early 40's..if not late 30's..
Cigar lugs and the "S" on the t rods are giveaways....

Man that's a screamin deal for $50. Nice score. Inside looks day 1 fresh too. That'll clean up real nice. Badge looks like late 30's to early 40's version. What are your plans for this one? I'll double your money if your selling it. LoLoLoLo

Thanks guys, what's the best way to clean up the nickel. The lugs all have the original felt packing inside. Rich.

Very nice~! What ever you did for lug clean up and polish looks great. The shell really cleaned up nicely too.
