There's a backstory on that cymbal over at DFO,and I still say.....he's smoking rubberbands if he thinks he's going to get 6K for that thing.

I'll play the other side of the coin - listing to go through the actions to satisfy the wife - or settle a bet. I suspect it will not sell and I suspect that he does not expect to part with it.

I hope his wife does not read this.....crap?!?!?!

:)

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

That's brilliant! Why haven't I thought of that? My wife's been nudging me to thin the herd. I could list my COB Dynasonics for $4000 each, my 4-piece Dayton set for $10,000, and my 10-piece Fullerton set for $25,000! Then when they don't sell, I simply say, "Sorry honey, I tried. Guess the market is still soft due to this lousy economy."

So is this ride really 31"? It doesn't look that big in the pics. I'd like to see a picture of it sitting on a yardstick.

I thought I would grab a picture from the CL ad and add it to the thread for posterity.

I have a 28" diameter Zildjian and it measures 29" over the bell, but who would measure it that way?

BTW, Since mine is smaller, I would be willing to take a little less than $6000 if anyone is interested. :)
