Been collecting Leedys for over 20 years and don't think I ever saw one of those.
Probably (likely) never had a badge so no issue there.
Cape Cod polishing cloths will make it shine like chrome.

Very cool drum! Probably made around 1940-42. That sticker residue is most likely from a music store. Frank's Drum Shop, possibly. Also, I think the plating is nickel, which can be easily polished on a buffing wheel.
Never seen a brass one looking forward to "after" pics.
Thanks a lot guys! This is awesome. I almost didn't go out to the auction today because I figured the drum would go for more than I could afford. I'm so glad I got it. I had no idea it was such a desireable drum when I got it. I'll be sure to take good care of it. I have no doubt I'll have more questions for you guys as I move along.
Great find...
I like Leedy drums....
Never have seen 1 like yours though I don't think....
Looks like the "Heavy" shell that L&L used back in the 20's-30's doesn't it?
Wow, I'm surprised how rare this drum is! I've enjoyed playing it, and right now it's sitting safe in it's case.
I will carefully take it apart and clean it up. I'm still a little leery of trying to straighten it for fear of ruining it. Any advice you can give about that would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jon
