Hey, My friend is selling her slingerland set and wants to know how much would be a fair asking price. Everything in the picture is included as well as drum bags. Non original hardware - Bass, Floor Tom, 1 hi tom, and snare are a set. looks like the hoop on the the front of the kick is non-original. B8pro hi hats and ride. I didnt get a chance to measure the sizes, sorry. Thanks for your help!

Oh yea, serial numbers are:

207990

166916

160642

if i recall i think they were on the kick, snare and tom

that looks like a 20-12-14. And very nice. Missing cymbal arm holder and the snare has what appears to be a missing/broken strainer arm? And the other drum in the background, is it not a Sligerland? It matches, might be a good add to sweeten the deal-i.e. making up for the missing/broken pcs. And it is a fairly desirable color in Champ Sparkle. In this economy, and those sizes and color, 600-800 should be reasonable, maybe a little more, maybe a little less?

Snare's a Chicago badge, so late 50's-early 60's...the other badges are Niles silver/black so are slightly younger drums, late 60's or so.

If the Champagne Sparkle is in good shape and the 3 pcs match pretty well, & given the other observations Jonni has made, I'd say probably $750-900 or so.

The snare alone could get $150-200 on eFlay. The FT being a 14x14 all by itself is worth $250+.

Again, assuming all is in pretty good shape.

Cool kit.

Thanks for your responses, happy new year!

The extra tom is a japanese no brand concert tom, wrapped very poorly in matching sparkle.

How much would it cost to put most of it back together, the missing snare pieces and kick front hoop, and cymbal arm holder?

That is really hard to say, but you can search closed auctions on ebay and see wht they closed at, or what they didn't sell for. It could run 100+ for the parts. Those hoops in that color are hard to come by. The arm for the snare throw, if you can stand it, could probably be replaced with a repro. And the cymbal arm and holder....you could get lucky, but chances are it will run much closer to 2bills to get all of the parts, and that is if you can even find the hoop.
