Hi, I am a newbie to restoring vintage drums and I am looking for two parts. I picked up an 1959 Ludwig set a few months ago and the snare is in need of a new snare wires and a tension rod. Does anyone know where I might be able to find these parts?

Thanks! My percussion professor worked for Ludwig in the 50's doing product development. Technically the snare is one of a kind because no other models were black over brass. I am really hoping to find these parts because I have my senior recital in May and I am playing a couple Joe Morello solos. Just today my professor gave me some old Ludwig 11A Morello sticks (two pairs with the blue lettering, and one with the older vintage script). However, the set and cymbals I definitely paid for.
