These 2 toms are part of the same kit. The bass was destroyed in a home invasion in 2001. I bought the 1961 bass in an effort to finish out the kit but didn't do a good job of matching the wrap color so selling seperate.
1959 - 8X13 Slingy Gold sparkle tom w/diamond plate and felt pad. Original finish is good (no fading). No heads. Has maple interior hoops. Has all lugs, tension rods and head hoops. No badge (pre-60's Slingys didn't have them)
1959 - 16X16 Slingy Gold Sparkle Floor tom. Has original heads (calf). Has all 3 straight legs but 2 of 3 leg attachments are missing height adjustment screws. Original finish is good (no fading). Has all lugs, tension rods and head hoops. Rims are showing signs of rust but minimal. No badge (pre-60's Slingys didn't have them)
1961 - 14X22 Slingy Orange/Gold finish (recently recovered but I have the oringial Champagne Sparkle wrap if you want it - it has a rip in it. Bass spurs are original but adjustment screws are not. 1 original head (I think). Not tom colette but I have a Japanese one that will fit - I didn't drill holes when I rewrapped it.
???? - 14X14 Whitehall Orange/Gold finish (recently recovered). Lug casings match the Slingy. I planned to add this to the kit above but....color didn't match. It matches the 1961 bass. Have new hoops and 8 original tension rods - have 8 on order (fine thread) for bottom rim. No heads.
$550 for all except the snare (not quite ready to part with it) but may soon. Oh, I also have the original tube case w/lid for the toms and the trap case w/lid that is part of the deal.
I'll pay half of shipping as well.
If you's like more pictures, email me and I'll send them.
