Here's a pic from the sale. If it loads I'll get the others, for posterity.

So that worked. Here's the rest...

There's some gouging from wrap removal, and lord knows why the snare lugs were offset all around the shell. Wonders never cease!.......but I don't need the snare. I'll be looking to sell/trade some of the parts off this kit, for instance I don't need two 8X12" toms either...

someone had way to much spare time and black paint, with some work, or just the other parts you'll have a great players club date kit.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Hey VM2000 - they're like, practically mint! Haha!

So these are likely going to have an outer ply of mahogany right? Looks that way from the closeup of the tom...probably just strip the paint and hand rub some linseed oil on there. Weird, but I prefer stuff that's a bit "hacky", don't know why...

say dt the kit is a nice deal but by the time you find the missing parts if you can the tension rods are a tough fine especially the ft, but i have been playing one of my club dates with oil skins, and shot gun style., sort of 80' retro style garage band sound, even though I'm a advocate for resonate heads, I'm just saying ...they pretty much can be made to sound great with some innovative tuning no matter what there "Ludwig's".................................................

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

My sentiments exactly! I'll be trying for reso's all around too.

For parts, one rack tom will get hoop and rods from the other. For the bass drum I have 12 faucet-style t-rods [single tension] from a defunct 12X25" Leedy bass drum, which if I can't trade I'll cut and re-thread 6 of them, plus I got a couple of nice wood MIJ hoops [for now]. The floor tom will get the top snare hoop, but those bottom tension rods will be the hurdle...

...and I can see at least two badges in the pics...

Thanks man! The ad disappeared and was relisted *twice* before I called the guy and said this has to end! lol. Soon as I saw them I thought these are my Clubdates, the reason I check kijiji all the time. So I'm pretty jazzed!

First order of business will be getting them to a playable state, then lots of time to think about a beautification process. Outer ply may not be good enough for oil or paint. The only new wrap I like is ginger glitter, but even that looks too new against the old hardware...we'll see!
